Lee & Associates Atlanta’s Dan Wagner

Lee & Associates Chief Data Officer Dan Wagner has been named president and CEO of the Atlanta office, effective Jan. 1, replacing Howard, who has led the Atlanta office since 2020, the company announced this week.

Howard will continue in a consulting role with Lee & Associates, assisting other area offices in the U.S. with their growth plans, the company said. During his six-year tenure in Atlanta, Howard expanded the brokerage office by 60%, including adding a medical office team, and positioned the Atlanta office among the top five Lee & Associates offices in the U.S.

“I was brought to Atlanta to grow this company, and I’m proud of what our team has accomplished,” Howard said in the release. “Dan is the right person to lead the next chapter, and I look forward to supporting the firm and helping our people continue to grow.”

A former senior research leader at CBRE, Wagner joined Lee & Associates in 2022 and assisted in growing its junior associate program, which fostered leaders within the brokerage firm. Wagner has more than 30 years of CRE experience.

Chicago-based Kiser Group announced that it is opening an Atlanta office for its multifamily investment sales platform and tapped Tyler Arnold as an adviser for the region.

Arnold is Kiser’s first Atlanta broker, focused on apartment sales throughout Metro Atlanta. Prior to Kiser, Arnold served as a land specialist at PureLand Real Estate and was formerly a project engineer at the Community Construction Group.

“Our expansion into Atlanta reflects both opportunity and intention,” Kiser Chief Revenue Officer Mike Mosher said in a press release. “We wanted someone who understands the market and the mechanics of multifamily ownership, and Tyler brings that full picture.”

A shift in Atlanta’s CRE industry is introducing two new leaders, one at a prominent industry association and the other at a fast-growing brokerage firm.

The Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors named Haley Casola as its executive director, succeeding Robin Godwin, who is leaving the board after nine years. Casola, who was hired in June, is part of a succession plan “years in the making,” the ACBR said in a press release.

Casola most recently was a project manager with the Georgia Department of Economic Development.

Godwin was named chief operating officer of Partners Real Estate’s southeast region. She will be working closely with Managing Partner John O’Neill to support Partners’ expansion across the region, the Atlanta Business Chronicle reported. Godwin is tasked with overseeing finance and accounting coordination, human resources, brokerage and community support and integrating new offices and teams, according to the ABC. She takes the helm in January.
