Farther Recruits $160M Michigan Team From Dynamic

The self-described technology-centric wealth management firm Farther has added Crooked Tree Capital Advisors, a team of advisors in Petoskey, Mich., managing $160 million in client assets. They join from Dynamic Advisor Solutions, a Phoenix-based TAMP and advisor support network.

Crooked Tree was founded in 2012 by John Marshall and was affiliated with Dynamic for the past 13 years. The team also includes principals Courtney Font and Bill Hansen and Client Service Manager Joan Marshall. Hansen joined the team in 2022 from Edward Jones. The firm serves individuals, families, retirees and business owners.
Farther was founded in 2019 and has raised $118 million in capital since its launch, the latest being a $72 million funding round in 2024 that valued the company at $542 million.

In July, the firm said it was on track to nearly triple its AUM in 2025 and surpass $13 billion in assets.

Last January, it announced its largest advisor addition so far when it brought on SignalPoint Asset Management, an RIA with about $650 million in AUM.
