Prudent Growth Team Launches Cornerstone Commercial

Cornerstone Commercial has officially launched as a new commercial property management platform, aiming to bring an owner-focused approach to managing retail real estate assets.

Founded by the team behind Prudent Growth Partners, the firm is focused on retail and open-air shopping centers, with an emphasis on necessity-based and neighborhood retail formats. The launch builds on more than a decade of experience in acquiring, leasing and managing over three million square feet of retail space across 15 states, representing more than 850 tenants.

Through that operating history, the team identified a disconnect between property managers and asset owners, particularly around value creation and strategic decision-making.

“Property management should go beyond basic operations – it should actively drive value,” said Tom Hahn, President of Prudent Growth Partners. “We created Cornerstone Commercial to bring an owner’s mindset to every decision, every asset, and every relationship.”

Cornerstone positions itself as a full-service platform integrating property management, leasing and operational strategy, supported by a technology-driven infrastructure. The firm utilizes the AppFolio system alongside proprietary tools designed to enhance asset performance.

These include Prismera, which converts unstructured real estate data into actionable insights; Examen, which applies drone and AI technology to asset mapping and capital planning; and Planisphere, a decision-support platform for operational strategy.
